Just a couple of days ago the MOOSE repository received it's 10,000th commit! The lucky committer? John Peterson, with a fixup for our presentation builder system.

(He'll be receiving one of these as a prize)

What an awesome milestone! A little over a year ago, when we open sourced MOOSE we only had around 6,500 commits representing the previous 5 years of work... so adding 3,500 more in one year is incredible.

According to GitHub we've had 43 different people contribute to MOOSE at this point. That's really awesome considering that half of those people are new committers since MOOSE was open sourced.

I just want to say "Thank you!" to everyone involved in this project: the developers and the users. We have great thing going on here... let's keep the momentum up!

A visual history of commits for MOOSE (note, this ignores merge commits so the number is less than 10k).
